You'd be surprised. This kind of music is pretty popular with the right people. Not what I'd choose for a bowling alley, but it kind of fits the atmosphere.

Somehow that was worse than I expected.

[She sighs, combing through her ponytail with her fingers for a lack of anything else to do.]

It's even worse to think we have to go through seven more weeks of this.

So, do you think following the new rule will give us extra points, or is this another weird team bonding thing with the wrong teams?

Hmm... What I'm hoping is the former, but it's probably the latter — and that's if you want to be optimistic. I bet there'll be repercussions if we don't follow the new rule, though.

[ off to the diner! where of course kazuki makes a beeline for the jukebox with a grin. ]

[she sounds and feels vaguely amused when she says this, before she shakes her head.]

Ahaha, just kidding. That's a little too on the nose... I'll listen to just about anything, though, so why don't you look for something you recognize?

[ hey monika kazu's coming up with a faint air of worry, but he's trying to ignore that! surely she's been looked after and cleaned up already. ]

Monika. I'm glad you made it back okay. [ ... ] What was that?

Believe me, I'm glad to be back.

[she's clean! her hair is still a little damp from the shower and everything. the bruising around her neck is still present, but the cuts and scrapes along her limbs and face at least look several days old now. if there's anything else, it's covered by her clothes.]

Even I don't know what that was, though.

[ he's just rippling with frustration as they are finally freed from mcdonald's. ]

Why does it feel like this was worse than last week?

[she is standing right outside of the mime-a mia, hovering by the entrance but not making any moves to go inside.]

... Maybe I should have suggested a normal coffee shop.

[ frowning at the mimes through the window. ]

Whoever go away with it this week... Do you think they'll do it again? Erase someone? They could get the lead, easy, if they did.

Why wouldn't they? They already got away once. I wouldn't be surprised if it emboldened them to try again.

[It's a long, long way down if they happen to fall over the edge. Monika eyes the ziplines.]

It's no spa or music store, but it's definitely a lot prettier than what we got last week.

week four, thursday.

anyway-- where is he? monika will go look for him a little while before curfew.]

[ he will be in the small park sitting in front of one of the crosses. but he'll look up when he hears her approaching. ]

[they were both investigating more or less the same area, so-- at some point after the announcement goes up and they're both heading out.]

Did you and Ylfa find anything?

[ well if this is like right after the announcement then i guess he'll be actively bleeding so lol. kazuki isn't really paying much attention to it though. ]

Yeah, there was a lot. Wine glasses, bullets, fire, shadows, and a sword. Some riding clothes were burning in the fire.

[they are at (throws dart) the hot springs! yay.]

So... A music store and these hot springs. You and Yuzuriha must be pretty happy this week, huh?

Seriously, how'd they take all of them?! I'm going to have words for whoever picks us for these things. Or maybe a punch in the face.

Not being able to find them really scared me, but it's better now that they're back.

[I GUESS they can be right outside of wherever the party is taking place. monika is just sipping a soda and looking at whatever's left of the UG after ruby blew up.]

I think I'm going to fight the higher ups myself if tomorrow isn't the end of this. At least, for us.
