Mm. I tried the music club out when I started high school, but a lot of them were just there to have an extracurricular on their transcript. They don't actually care that much about music beyond listening to the most popular songs at the time and talking about who they think's the hottest singer. [ rolls his eyes. ] It was a waste of time, so I didn't stick around.
Oh, jeez... I hate that. It's always so frustrating and disappointing when you think you've finally met people who share your interests, but they don't really care beyond how it makes them look. Then it's, like, you just wasted both of our times.
Right? It's annoying - like it's all for popularity points instead of actually caring about something. Things like that are why I never tell anyone back home that I play guitar.
