I talked to the reapers about that this week - why they'd encourage us to be friendly or whatever if we're supposed to kill each other. They said it was a strategy, but. It didn't work out that way for Buzen-san.

Yeah, I didn't like it, either. I don't think it's fair for us to decide what's kinder or crueler for someone else - it sounded like she didn't even ask him about it before picking him, she just... decided on her own.
