Fairy tales are, like, a subgenre. But nobody would just say "fantasy" if they're looking specifically for fairy tales, you know? The fantasy genre's varied enough that it covers anything from the classic dungeons and dragons to magical realism and urban fantasy.

Ahaha, I know what you mean. I definitely experience a little bit of culture shock every time someone mentions something off-handedly about their world, and it just sounds like something that could only exist in fiction where I come from.

I guess the good thing is I could borrow all of these and if I don't like any of them I'll bring them back. I doubt the dead have a check-out limit or anything and we have...way too much time on our hands throughout the week.

Let's just say that the skate park that showed up is a lot more similar to what I'm familiar with. I spent a lot of time there over the last couple of years.
