It makes perfect sense. Of course, I'll be focused on figuring out what happened to Valerie. But I won't ignore what happened to Setsu, either. [a beat.] ... Speaking of which, do you know if they purchased anything from the store recently? Nahida said something really weird about a llama.

...good. I'm glad, at least. Nahri was with us, too, so that's kind of funny how it worked out. [ it is not funny. ] I'm glad team Justice got one more night together, too.

I don't think any of us can afford to ignore things now, but I won't tell people not to be biased. [ ...he just. suddenly looks so fucking confused. ] Setsu's pretty bad at spending their money. It took a while to convince them to buy other clothes, and otherwise we try to buy the food each week to run some tests. What did Nahida say about a llama?

Apparently, a llama showed up while she was investigating the salt mines and it helped her find Simon. But I remembered there was a llama toy up for sale in IKEA a while ago. So I've been wondering...

You think maybe the llama toy has something to do with a real llama showing up? I know some of the items do weird shit but that's...kind of literal.

Well, it's a guess, since only the person who bought it would know what it does. I haven't seen any other llamas around here, though. Have you?

Nope. We've just started getting bigger animals, but no llamas before now. [ ...mmmmm. ] So if there was a llama plush involved, what the hell would that mean?

Ideally... it means that one of then managed to curse their killer, right?

[westedge]

Ideally. [ he's not too sure, but that would be nice if that were possible. ] Where's the llama now? Do we know?

[rewriter]

No idea. Either they're still cursed and hiding, or they managed to get someone to heal them, I guess...?

What matters is that someone knows who this llama is. So if it really is a person, they'll have to 'fess up tomorrow anyway. It'll give us a starting point.

Well, hopefully.

Nahida thinks a culprit might have cursed someone to affect the investigation. However... If no one confesses to being a llama tomorrow, then that's pretty telling, right?

I think so, yeah. I mean I think I would confess to being cursed as a llama right away if that happened. What reason would you have to hide that unless you were guilty and involved somehow?
