It's not going out of my way if I'm the one asking. [ first of all. ] I can't say I blame you for that either. In a way...I'm sort of glad I don't have a healing psych. I'm not sure I'd know when too much is too much. As long as it's not too uncomfortable still...
[ but...hum. ]
I heard a little about what happened from Simon. What the hell was that about?
Eggs. [ frowning still. ] I don't really get it. The last time at least we knew where the group went and it could be explained a little as things Shenhe was familiar with. But unless someone's really good at hiding their family drama and the fact they may be a bird, this one feels a little more random.
[ amazing what player cyoas and mod cyoas do....wow.... ]
Was there ever even an option not to get involved, you think?
They're not. Ruby said the reapers get a notification when we're assigned one, but... that's it.
[so. that's fun! she sighs.]
We tried our best to not get involved. But it was, like... we had to make certain choices to progress the "plot," if you know what I mean? So after a certain point, even though we tried our best to not get involved with the family, we were still trapped in their house and couldn't avoid getting locked into a room with them in the end. Total survival horror stuff.
I wasn't even sure if they knew, but that's good to know. [ and also kind of sucks? give us a heads up next time, reapers. but there's a nod to that. ]
Like you had hit a checkpoint, but you couldn't forcequit the game until you reached the next one. [ there's a grimace. ] That sounds like it really sucked. Could you guys use your psychs or anything at least?

Like... not get involved in all the drama? Or do you mean the special mission as a whole?
